ResponsibilitiesPeraton is seeking an enthusiastic and talented junior DevSecOps engineer to build on ongoing modernization efforts for the US Navy with enabling microservices to be rapidly built, tested, fielded, and integrated to container orchestration platforms through heavy use of automation tools and processes. This hybrid support role (75% remote, 25% onsite at a government facility) in the San Diego area is for folks who like being close to the work—building pipelines, automating infrastructure, fixing what slows teams down, and adapting when a program needs something different. We work in small-to-mid size, diverse teams with clear ownership of tasking. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
